Visitors can admire the abilities of birds of prey and also their capacities of making contact with people, watching the birds from only a few centimetres away. In addition to this, we present the birds’ and their species’ features within the frames of lecture programs.
As a way of keeping traditions alive, falconry flourished in the renaissance era and was an important attraction of royal courts, becoming an art in these times. As the famous Hungarian poet, Balint Balassi said – watching the production of a renaissance falconer is “an amusement to drive troubles away”.
Besides carrying out the everyday shows, our professional falconers look after the birds with all their expertise, always in line with environment protection. We also plan to save and breed the bird stock of the neighbourhood.
